Jim is the President and CEO of the Richard Nixon Foundation, is a dynamic leader who assumed this pivotal role in November 2021. His vision is anchored in welcoming a global audience to the Nixon Library through creative and immersive educational exhibitions, expanding the national impact of the Foundation's programs, and enhancing its online presence.
Jim is spearheading the American Civics Campaign, a significant $40 million initiative launched in 2023 to reintroduce American civics and history to middle and high school students. His extensive leadership experience includes serving as the Executive Vice President, leading the planning for the Nixon Library's reopening after a $15 million renovation, and coordinating a successful $25 million capital campaign.
A graduate of Chapman University, Byron holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a Minor in History. He is author of "A President Comes Home.”
